Sophie Stephens creates a #graphicexplosion at 29 Holland Street

29 Holland street has been transformed into an illustrated cave thanks to the super talented Sophie Stephens!
London-based illustrator Sophie already has an impressive fashion back catalogue including the likes of Henry Holland and Selfridge’s, it’s no surprise that we were eager to get her involved in the re-design of our London boutique. Sophie specialises in black pen work and covered an entire wall with illustrated versions of Kirsten’s Instagram images. From the KG team to the latest collections, Sophie’s illustrated wall gives a visual insight into the world of KG. Teamed with deep grey walls and bright yellow plinths, 29 Holland Street now embodies the KG image. Sophie we adore you!

Oh! oh! oh! The KG Christmas window!

Proving you don’t need to spend as much as the likes of Harrod’s to create a fabulous eye-catching window, us KG girl’s decided to use up materials that were cluttering up our office. Not only did we manage to clear out some much needed storage space, we also make an awesome display! The saying kill two birds with one stone comes to mind…
After hours (days) of making paper chains from old KG look-books and painting some old wooden display boxes our Christmas window display is complete! The finishing touch… a Kirsten Goss fairy! Beautifully illustrated by the super talented Sophie Stephens!

More to come on Sophie’s work including her transformation of the Holland Street Boutique…Watch this space!

Of course it wouldn’t be Christmas without the big department store window displays. Here are some of our favourite window wonderlands…

John Lewis
We are totally obsessed with these creature creations made up of various household objects – Lego for adults?

Selfridges
A giant Louis Vuitton may be too big to carry but we would happily live in it! The multiple windows host an array of ski slopes including a giant play-doh mountain!

Harrods
The luxury retailer has transformed into the Harrods Express! The window begins with a moving steam train and leads with each window revealing a different part of the trains carriage. From Mannequin’s lavishly dining in first class to the most deluxe luggage carriage you’ll ever see!

Three #arcade minutes

The arcade film has launched! After 3 exclusive screening’s across our South Africa boutiques, Arcade the film is now here for you social media fanatics to feast your eyes on!

Behind a great film there is always a great production team! We hooked up with some of the most incredibly creative and hard-working folk that Cape Town had to offer, there’s no way we were going to do anything on a small scale! Here’s a few shots of the behind the scenes shenanigans…
