'a very belated thank you for the wonderful jewellery you created for me and for my bridesmaids. the fact that these pieces were unique made me feel very special, it will always be an incredible reminder of this fantastic day. i have a long waiting list of friends who want to borrow my necklace (they love the vintage look!), and my bridesmaids have not taken their bracelet off since they have had it!
a special thank you to kate who has been amazing from the start. you have been extremely welcoming when i was only browsing in the shop and have understood straight away what i was looking for; and finally you have been very patient when i could not make my mind up about my bridesmaids’ gifts!

when i proclaimed a wedding to be had in 5 weeks, i never dreamed of everything coming together exactly like i had always wished for. the theme - vintage. over a short time i managed to pull together the ensemble, and all i needed was the cherry on the top - gorgeous and fabulous jewels...
there is only one person i know capable of producing the best and most creatively put together collection of precious stones to adorn, and making them look like pieces from the 1920's -1930's with a slightly contemporary edge. also with not too much time to play with! thank you team, you did a fabulous job- i truly felt like a vintage queen.

'i wanted the perfect jewellery for my big day. i had found the perfect dress, but couldn't find just what i was looking for with the jewellery. i was reading a copy of a bridal magazine, and saw a beautiful bride with the most fantastic earrings ever!! so the quest began. i looked for the website for the jewellers, and saw they were from kirsten goss in london. not the easiest place for me to pop out and purchase from as i am in dundee, scotland.

i must admit i stumbled over the shop by chance - still, i knew i had found my place. it was actually a sunday and the boutique was closed when i came across it, and kirsten herself came from lunch across the road to open specially when she saw me lingering at the window. that was the first example of the amazing service and friendliness kirsten and her entire team delivers.
working with kirsten and her team on my wedding jewellery was an oasis of calm and enjoyment - in stark contrast to many of the other preparations for a wedding! i was unsure of what i really wanted before we started, but after my initial consultation i was sold on a pair of long earrings which perfectly matched some of the details in my dress.
the combination was unbelievable. i have since been back several times, for non-wedding jewellery, and have never been anything less than 100% pleased with the result. it is such an addictive and fun place to visit! like a sweetie shop for grown-up girls!' |

'my necklace has been such a pleasure from day one – kirsten really understood what was a particularly vague brief and the fact she got in 100% perfect first time is a testament to her creative and intuitive approach. the extraordinary parity it has with my favourite coin pearl earrings underlines how particularly right it is. on my wedding day and the other parts of our celebrations, its tactile and unique look was a boost of confidence and elegance. and i love the asymmetrical design which keeps the eye moving, the way it glows, and the way it warms up, like an extension of me. whenever i wear it, which is as much as possible, people comment, ask to touch, and generally bow down and worship it! overall it makes even a t-shirt and jeans feel like the answer to glamour.
add to that that my husband now knows exactly where to come for any present, i couldn’t be happier. on the subject of which my new necklace is getting almost as much wear and i have started routling in my jewellery archives for more things to wear on it – it’s a perfect present for someone like me and also gets commented on loads – i went to see pina baush last night and one of the group was like a rabbit in the headlights, transfixed by the smoky quartz!' |
